IN THE NEWS:
The Surrey Armed Forces Covenant Conference 2019 was held (06.02.19) at ATR Pirbright and celebrated the achievements of the Covenant and sharing best practice. The Forces Connect South East – Veterans Hubs team ran a workshop to help identify ways of reaching “Hard to Reach” members of the veterans community (and thank you for everybody’s support). A big part of the day was about service children and the challenges to ensure that that are not disadvantaged by their parents career choices. We were impressed by the care, enthusiasm and hard work that those involved from Cadets to Head Teachers evidenced!
